Our band program is offered for the beginner through experienced students by “Music with Kai."

Both band and piano offer kids a wealth of benefits that extend far beyond musical skills. They enhance brain development, improve academic performance, boost confidence, and provide a creative outlet for emotions.

Benefits of learning a musical instrument:

Whether a child plays in a band or learns the piano, the act of learning an instrument provides numerous advantages:

• Cognitive development: Playing an instrument is a "full-brain workout" that improves memory, concentration, and problem-solving abilities.

• Better academic performance: Studies have found a correlation between music education and higher test scores in math, science, and English. Understanding musical rhythms and patterns can also strengthen math skills.

• Patience and discipline: Regular practice and the effort required to learn an instrument teach kids the value of persistence and delayed gratification.

• Improved motor skills: Playing an instrument develops fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

The band is a great opportunity for students to learn brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. The opportunity to join band is offered to students in Grades 4-8.  Piano is offered for students K-8th Grade
