Thank you for being so interested in St. Walter Catholic School! St. Walter School will begin accepting registrations for next year’s school term starting at our Open House during Catholic Schools Week. Whether you have children ready for three or four-year-old preschool or kindergarten through eighth grade, we are ready to welcome them into the St. Walter School family!

2026/2027 Registration
New family registration opens on Sunday, January 25. Our registration form is online, located in the blue link above or on our home page. St. Walter School is hosting an Open House on Sunday, January 25. Doors will open at noon; the Open House presentation will start at 12:15 pm and occur in St. Francis Hall. Guided group tours will begin after the presentation.
You Will Need
- An original Birth Certificate for your child, as required by the State of Illinois.
- A copy of your child’s Baptismal Certificate
- Registration fee of $125 per family (K-8) with an additional $125 annual fee per preschool student. Families registering in Kindergarten - Grade 8 pay a one-time fee. A check or cash is acceptable.
Required Immunizations
All families are expected to comply with the health and immunization requirements of the State of Illinois. Health Exam forms are available on our website here.
