Our Philosophy

As part of our service to working parents, St. Walter School offers an optional Before and After School Care Program called B.A.S.I.C. for students in Preschool - Grade 8.

B.A.S.I.C offers a safe, happy, and well-supervised environment for students while parents are away at work.

B.A.S.I.C activities include, homework time, indoor games and physical exercise.

ADMISSION POLICY

Students in preschool through grade 8 who are enrolled in St. Walter School and whose parents need the service because of their work schedules are eligible for B.A.S.I.C.

B.A.S.I.C BEFORE SCHOOL SUPERVISION

No snack is provided to students attending before school care. Students should come to school having eaten breakfast.

B.A.S.I.C.  AFTER SCHOOL SnackTime

A snack is provided daily to students participating in after school care. A one time snack fee is requested for each participating student.

B.A.S.I.C. REGISTRATION

All students must be registered for the program by completing the Registration packet. The packet is available through the school office.

In an effort to ensure proper supervision, we ask that parents complete a monthly calendar indicating the day/s they will be needing B.A.S.I.C. services. If changes to your work schedule occurs, please call the school office so that we can update the daily attendance rosters.

PAYMENT

B.A.S.I.C. services are billed at the end of each month. Payment is due no later than the 1st of the following month.
