            With summer vacation upon us, students are looking forward to summer sports, play time, relaxing, and I’m sure family vacation.  One thing that a student sometimes forgets, but really shouldn’t is reading.  Below is a suggested summer reading list for all incoming 8th graders.  Keeping your reading skills up during the summer will make a smoother transition into 8th grade which in turn will help you with high school placement exams that take place early in your 8th grade year.
